Larsen Families,
Picture Day: Monday, October 26, 2026-
Students don't need to wear their uniform for picture day; however, casual clothing must follow the dress code: EC §35183; HESD BP 5132; HESD AR 5132.
Pupils may not wear attire which is disruptive to the educational process.
For reasons of safety and health, students must wear closed shoes to school.
Each school in the Hueneme Elementary School District has policies regarding the type of clothing to be allowed, such as a policy regarding the prohibition of wearing gang-related clothing and the use of sunscreen at school (EC 35183.5).
You should have received an Orange Federal Impact Survey with your student on Friday. The Forms should have your child's information printed on them. Schools are required to complete federal impact forms (known as Impact Aid survey forms) to verify the number of federally connected students and receive federal funding that replaces lost local property taxes. We ask that you please complete the form and return it to the school as soon as possible. We must have a completed form from every student. We appreciate your cooperation with this federal requirement. Red Ribbon Week 10/22-10/30 Join in the Fun!
